Daniel Muhumuza Replaces Peter Kaujju as KCCA Spokesperson

Nuwabine will assume the role of the interim Head of Public and Corporate Affairs and also double as the Spokesperson for KCCA effective July 7 2020.

Recent news reaching our editorial desk confirm that Daniel Muhumuza Nuwabine has been appointed as KCCA spokesperson by the Authority Management. Nuwabine will assume the role of the interim Head of Public and Corporate Affairs and also double as the Spokesperson for KCCA effective July 7 2020.

Nuwabine’s key role will include but not limited to drive and oversee KCCA’s Communications Policy in execution of all the Institution’s Corporate Communication and Media Relations, stakeholder engagements at various levels and the Institution’s brand voice.

“Prior to this role, Nuwabine has been the substantive Supervisor for Guidelines and Public Awareness at KCCA for 4 years—a role in which he has provided oversight on community-based awareness and sensitisation with a blend of creativity and strategic thinking to give an account of KCCA services, status of projects as well as building synergies with communities,” reads an expert.

Spokesperson Peter Kaujju has left the authority to join UMEME after 9 years.

His move came at a time when President Museveni replaced the KCCA top management led by former acting Executive Director Andrew Kitaka.

Museveni appointed Ms. Dorothy Kisaka as a substantive executive director.

He also appointed Dr. Daniel Okello Ayen, as Director, Public Health and Environment, Ms. Sarah Kanyike, for Director Gender, Community Services and Ms. Grace Akullo, for Director, Human Resources and Administration
