PASTOR YIGA EARLY LIFE
Yiga during his early child days after joining the band, he could not compose songs on his own but rather worked as a house boy for the entire singing group. At one time, Yiga remarked that they would travel to different parts of the country and his major role was cooking and washing their clothes for the group as the reset carried out the musical performance. Throughout his journey with the musical band, he acquired skills in playing several instruments, and around 1997, Kasozi (the group leader) was bedridden by that time as he (Yiga) had known how to play the guitar and a couple of instruments.
However, unfortunately during the same year, Yiga abandoned the musical group due to lack of finances and joined witchcraft for over two years when he bought items that included calabashes, spears, coffee and backcloth and set up a shrine in his room. Yiga after two years denounced witchcraft and joined a group of conmen locally known as ‘Abafere’ as he had gained some wealth from witchcraft and resorted to being a conman.
