Incumbent and NRM flag bearer for presidency H.E Yoweri Museveni has today set off for Apac, where he will spend the 3rd day of his presidential campaign rally.
Mr. Museveni has asked supporters to stick to SOPs in the battle to overcome the spread of the deadly coronavirus and Covid-19.
“The commitment to all our supporters is that we shall bring the message to you, but safely. Stay safe, do not tempt the pandemic,” said Museveni in a tweet.
Museveni was in Lira for his second day of presidential campaigns after launching his campaign roadmap in Luwero on Monday.
Addressing members of the leading National Resistance Movement (NRM), party at Golf Course in Lira on Tuesday, November 9, Museveni said the government will compensate people who lost their animals during raids and insurgencies that rocked Northern Uganda for nearly two decades.
After his address, the President’s supporters took to the streets to show their support for a leader they say is the reason for the development of Uganda.
