Yoweri Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda will on Sunday, November 22, address the country on the current security situation.
While appearing at the NBS Frontline last night, the Government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo revealed that the Head of State will ultimately speak to the nation about the current state of affairs.
“He will be addressing the nation, especially in relation to the riots which have been happening in various parts of the country,” Ofwono said.
Several people have died in various parts of the country and 80 others injured according to the Police and other reports in various parts of the country; following protests against the arrest of National Unity Platform’s Robert Kyagulanyi.
By press time, Kyagulanyi is being shipped to appear before the court magistrate in Jinja for a court hearing.
