NUP Supporters start fundraising campaign to purchase Bobi Wine armored car

National Unity Platform (NUP) supporters and strong diehards of Bobi Wine have started a fundraising campaign to surprises their president, Bobi Wine with an armored vehicle.

Following the recent Kayunga – Jinja fracas which left Kyagulanyi’s Land Cruiser smashed to flat tyres by brutal security forces prompting the presidential candidate to suspend his campaigns to meet the EC over the life threatening attacks from police and MIlitary.

Through social media, Bobi Wine fans have resorted to mobilize and raise funds to get him a new car for his ongoing campaigns.

In a Facebook post shared by one of the supporters,  Andaman Daku, he explains that their ‘President’s’ life is in danger especially when he’s on a campaign trail and needs to protection by gifting him an armored vehicle.

The party has since also called upon its supporters to contribute funds to enable the running of their campaign activities.

“Many comrades in Uganda and abroad are reaching out asking how they may be of help in these precarious times.
