Lord Mayor Lukwago discharged from Nairobi hospital

NAIROBI: Kampala City Lord Mayor Haji Erias Lukwago “Omuloodi” has been discharged from the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi and will return to Kampala on Monday December 7, 2020.

This was confirmed by the Deputy Lord Mayor Doreen Nyanjura who downplayed the rumours that his boss had passed and reinstated that the embattled Lord Mayor’s health has improved and that he is discharged from hospital.

“The Lord Mayor is stable, he was discharged today and is traveling back on Monday,” Doreen Nyanjura posted on her official Facebook page on Saturday.

Rubaga North Member of Parliament Moses Kasibante also confirmed the report saying that Lukwago will be discharged from the Nairobi Hospital tomorrow Sunday.

According to MP Kasibant who is a close associate of Erias Lukwago, the Lord Mayor will also be addressing a press conference soon after touching base to Kampala, on Monday 11am, at his residence along Wakaliga road in Rubaga.

Lukwago was last flown out to Nairobi due to respiratory complications occasioned by an acute anaphylaxis where his critical health condition has been handled by Pulmonologists.

He has spent close to two weeks after getting difficulty in breathing.
