The Electoral Commission has today received a batch of 10 Million presidential ballots from the United Arab Emirates ahead of the 2021 elections.
While receiving the ballot papers, EC Chairperson Justice Simon Byabakama confirmed that the batch delivered contains the ballot for all presidential candidates totaling to a figure of ten (10) million ballot papers.
The elections for president and MPs will take place on January 14.
Justice Byabakama said the delivered ballot papers are for seven regions, including Kampala, Elgon, northern, West Nile and south western region.
The ballot papers were printed by a United Arab Emirates based company Al Ghurair Printing and Publishing LLC.
