The UEFA Europa League Draws for last 32 have been confirmed with Manchester United drawn to Real Sociedad while Arsenal face Benfica.
The draws for the second tier UEFA competition were drawm on Monday afternoon in Nyon, Switzerland.
The first legs of this knockout phase will be played next year on Thursday, February 18, with the second legs played exactly a week later.
Manchester United have faced Spanish side Real Sociedad twice and never lost – beating them 1-0 at Old Trafford in the 2013-14 Champions League group stage, before drawing in Spain.
On the other side,
Mikel Arteta’s side have impressed in the Europa League this season and topped their group containing Molde, Rapid Vienna and Dundalk.
In doing so they became the only side in Europe to maintain a 100% record throughout the group stages, scoring 20 goals along the way.
