FUFA, UGANDA: Uganda Cranes coach Jonathan McKinstry has confirmed the 25 man Squad traveling to Cameroon for the 2020 Pre- CHAN Mini Tournament.
The Contingent of 25 players departs to Cameroon today on Monday afternoon (3pm).
Uganda Cranes will take part in a Pre-CHAN tournament involving Cameroon, Niger and Zambia running between 1st and 7th January 2021. KCCA FC players will join the team after their CAF Confederation Cup fixture against AS Kigali.
Meanwhile, Coach Sadiq Wassa has taken over from Fred Kajoba as the goalkeeping coach on the Uganda Cranes Africa Nations Championship (Chan) team.
The former Ugandan international is part of the team of officials that leave the country on Monday December 28 ahead of the Pre-Chan tournament due in Cameroon.
Kajoba was released from camp on Friday after attending Christmas Prayers contrary to the team rules that barred anyone from leaving camp as part of ensuring SOPs to prevent the Coronavirus were respected.
