The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Okoth Ochola has made new changes and appointments transferring top police commanders in the Criminal Intelligence and Investigations department, The Daily Express understands.
In the shuffle that took place on Wednesday, SCP Elly Womanya has been reshuffled from the Kireka based Special Investigations Division and appointed Deputy Director of the Police Human Resource Development – HRD.
He will be replaced by Senior Superintendent of Police SSP Odongo Mark.
In the same shuffle, Assistant Commissioner of Police Isaac Okecho has been transferred to CIID headquarters as Admin replacing Commissioner of Police Moses Irunga who has been sent to the Police Human Resources Department for redeployment.
