LIST: 59 NUP Elected MPs for the 11th Parliament

ELECTION AFTERMATH: Uganda on 14th January 2021 went to the polls for the Presidential and Parliamentary elections and the outcome of the result was most notably the dominance of Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine’s newly formed National Unity Platform (NUP) in majorly the central region.

Formed in June 2020, the party saw their candidates oust notable bigwigs from the Ruling National Resistance Movement including Uganda’s Vice President Hon. Edward Kiwanuka Sekandi among others.

The famous recorded victory saw NUP amass more than 50 parliamentary seats guaranteeing it the big cake as the party with most MPs from the opposition side.

Here are the total 59 NUP elected MPs as announced in the recently concluded 2021 general elections.
