Final results of the 2021 Kampala Lord Mayor elections

KAMPALA LORD MAYOR ELECTIONS: The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) candidate Erias Lukwago is the new Kampala Lord Mayor election, after settling for over 65% of the votes casted in Wednesday’s Kampala Mayoral elections.

Lukwago managed to defend his seat, after garnering 194,592 votes while his closest challenger of the National Unit Platform (NUP) Nabillah Naggayi Sempala fell behind in second position with only 60,082. Musicians Daniel “Ragga Dee” Kazibwe of NRM and Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone collected 23,388 and 12,212 votes to rank third and fourth positions respectively.

Lukwago who joined FDC in July of 2020 has been the Lord Mayor of the city of Kampala since January 14th, 2011 after replacing Al Haji Nasser Ntege Ssebagala (the late).
