A total of 56 municipalities and city divisions across the country have this morning kicked off elections for municipal & city division mayors and directly elected councilors amidst heavy rains.
According to places reached by our field reporters, the voter turn-up evidenced by press time was still as low as last week’s district chairperson elections.

Voting at all polling stations will end by 4:00pm and tallying votes will then precede.
