KYAMBOGO, UGANDA: Property worth billions of shillings has been destroyed in a fire that gutted a Royal Form mattress factory in Banda, Kyambog on Thursday morning.
Eye witnesses say that the fire outbreak started at around 7am when a sudden fire from one section of the factory which later escalated to other parts of factory but police was notified immediately
Police’s Fire Brigade rushed to the factory and was still battling the flames by the time of writing this story.
The cause of the fire was still unknown.
The fire however, is said to have destroyed a lot of property in the basement of the factory.
