LAMWO DISTRICT, UGANDA: A 35-year-old man is said to have bludgeoned his step-mother to death for cautioning him about the risk of sexually transmitted infections because of his affairs with multiple women.
Patrick Komakech, a resident of Kakira south village in Padibe, Lamwo district, is alleged to have repeatedly hit 55-year-old Angella Kidega several times on the head using a hoe handle until she died, according to Police.
Eyewitnesses said the deceased on several occasions cautioned Komakech over diseases as a result of sleeping with many women.
A police report referenced SD reference 08/28/02/2021 Lamwo indicates that; “Kidega warned Komakech for bringing different women at her home during day and night.”
“Komakech got annoyed and picked a hoe handle and hit Kidega on the head repeatedly till death,” said a detective.
Police has since arrested Komakech, over the murder.
Police is still combing the crime scene for evidence.
