Another NUP Supporter Succumbs to Torture Wounds

“He was severely tortured. Three weeks ago, he was dumped in near the Nakawa market and left there,” Bobi Wine said.

Another supporter of the National Unity Platform has succumbed to torture wounds inflicted on him by security operatives

The NUP leadership has confirmed the death of their own in a statement released on Friday March 12.

According to the NUP party president, Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine, Luuka Fabian was three weeks ago reportedly kidnapped and taken away by security operatives.

“He was severely tortured. Three weeks ago, he was dumped in near the Nakawa market and left there,” Bobi Wine said.

He further adds that some good people picked up the victim and took him to hospital.

“We immediately took over his treatment and the doctors did everything to save his life. He was able to speak once and he explained how he was kidnapped with two other people and severely brutalised to this point.”

He later passed on from Kiruddu hospital where he had been referred for plastic surgery.

“It may take a short time or longer time, but these crimes against humanity will and must be accounted for. We the people of Uganda will continue doing everything within our power to ensure that justice for these comrades is eventually served,” Bobi Wine noted.
