2021 Grammy Awards Winners: Beyonce, Burnaboy, Wizkid Sqoop Awards

The 2021 Grammy Awards were history-making in more ways than one. Billie Eilish became the first soloist this century to win Record of the Year two years in a row, and the first act to do so since U2 did for “Everything I Wanted.”

Beyoncé made history in the Grammys by becoming the female performing artist with the most career Grammy wins ever after picking up trophies for “Black Parade” and “Savage,” with Megan Thee Stallion.

‘I am so honored. I’m so excited. Thank you,’ said the singer, who made a surprise showing at the gala she has skipped for the past several years, wearing a curve-hugging black leather mini dress. 

Beyonce also became the most nominated female artist in Grammys history with 79, tied with Paul McCartney as the second most nominated act and only one behind husband Jay-Z and industry legend Quincy Jones.
