SEETA, MUKONO: A final year student at Kyambogo University in Kampala has committed suicide, the Daily Express has learnt.
The deceased identified as Akol Beatrice, Reg No. 16/U/11561/SWD/PD was a finalist pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Social Works and Social Administration (SWASWA) is reported to have put an end to her life on Monday at her uncle’s home in Seeta.
Details about why the young hopeful social work decided to take her own life are still scanty.
Akol’s body has since been transferred to Mulago National Referral hospital for postmortem .
She will be laid to rest at her ancestral home in Ngora on Saturday, relatives and close friends have told this publication.
