JUST IN: Sacked KCCA Coach Mike Mutebi tipped to join TP Mazembe

Sacked KCCA Fc Coach Mike Hillary Mutebi is reportedly set to join DR Congo’s top club, Tout Puissant (TP) Mazembe (Powerful Mazembe) popularly known as TP Mazembe.

The yet to be confirmed information is that Mutebi has been in talks with the management of Mazembe to first join the club as one of the senior coaching officials then after while he will be the appointed the overall mananger.

Mutebi was sacked by KCCA Fc on Monday March 29, in whaat was termed as an agreed mutual consent between the two parties to terminate his employment with immediate effect.

The tactician, likened to Pep Guardiola by ugandan football fanatics led the Kasasiro boys to Three (03) League titles, Two (02) Uganda Cups, Four (04) Super Cups and One (01) CECAFA Clubs Cup over the last five years making him the most successful Manager in the Club’s history.

Formerly known as Englebert, TP mazembe is a Congolese professional football club based in Lubumbashi and one of Africa’s top football clubs. The club hosts their homes games at Stade TP Mazembe situated in the suburb of Kamalondo.

Meanwhile, Hippos Morley Byekwaso was appointed by KCCA to take charge of all First Team duties as the Interim Manager with immediate effect.
