Police hunting for suspects who burnt a drone taxi van

KAMPALA – Police in Kampala is hunting for several suspects who on Tuesday maliciously set ablaze a drone taxi van registration number UBJ 364P at Kyebando.

The drone was burnt by residents of Kyebando on suspicion that it might have been among the cars used by security to abduct people.

Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed that the vehicle had been burnt and police had removed it from the scene by a breakdown and some suspects have been arrested and taken along with it.

‘Among the suspect arrested is Will, a thug in that same place. The vehicle had a mechanical fault and it had parked on the side of the road. So heartless people took advantage of it,’ he said.
