Simon Muyanga Lutaaya bounces back at NBS

Lutaaya quit NBS Tv in January 2019 after spending over 10 years at the station as one of its founding members.

Sir Simon Muyanga Lutaaya, one of the most recognisable faces in the Television circles has bounced back at NBS television 2 years after he quit the Naguru based station.

Muyanga Lutaaya made his maiden appearance today on the NBS Morning Breeze with the show co-host Midlred Tuhaise in what was his first appearance at the station in over two years.

Lutaaya quit NBS Tv in January 2019 after spending over 10 years at the station as one of its founding members.

His political shows, NBS the Eagle, and One on One with Tamale Mirundi would later be overtaken by the then president of the Uganda Journalists Association Hajj Kazibwe Bashir who also left a year later to join politics.

Inside sources at Naguru, where the station is located indicated that the staff were very welcoming to receive the political analyst and TV icon back at the helm of business.

It is not yet known whether Lutaaya’s return will see him assume his then Sunday’s political show, NBS the Eagle, which is currently being hosted by Simon Kaggwa Njala.
