Ssegirinya’s bail application flops again, sent back to Kitalya

BUGANDA ROAD COURT | KAMPALA: Kawempe North MP Muhammad Ssegirinya’s bail application has flopped again and ordered to be remanded back to Kitalya prison until 15th April 2021.

Ssegirinya had today morning appeared before the Buganda Road Court Magistrate Gladys Kamasanyu via the video conferencing link for hearing of his bail application.

Hearing of the bail application flopped as two of his lawyers failed to agree on how to proceed, which prompted Buganda Road Court Grade One Magistrate Gladys Kamasanyu to remand him further.

Court has today remanded him again to jail till 15th April 2021 after defence lawyers said they were not ready to proceed with the hearing because they didn’t get the intended evidence.

Bail application hearing was also adjourned to 15th.
