Three robbers including a woman who disguises as NWSC employees and strangled a Chinese national in a footage that went viral last week have been arrested, Police in Kampala have confirmed.
Security agencies led by Police busted the gang in a Saturday night raid, this website has learnt.
The deputy police spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan, Luke Owoyesigyire said four suspects disguised as National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) workers and attacked two people at a residence occupied by Chinese nationals in Kyambogo, Nakawa division, in Kampala.
“A woman was among the four suspects. She helped them carry out the robbery”, Owoyesigire said.
He added, “They (suspects) tied their victims, a Chinese chef, and a maid, with ropes before robbing them of more than sh100m,”.
