“A decision was reached and it is just a matter of making it official,” the source confirmed.

Jonathan McKinstry, 35, has been in charge of the National Team since September 2019. He signed a three-year contract, replacing French national Sébastien Desabre who left the cranes after the 2019 AFCON finals.

McKinstry was in March suspended as the Cranes prepared for two final qualifying games of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations against Burkina Faso and Malawi with the team put under Coach Abdallah Mubiru as the interim head coach.

This is a developing story, details will come when FUFA makes the official statement!
