INSIDE STORY: Exclusive news reaching our editorial desk report that the wife to Bobi Wine’s elder brother Fred Nyanzi has reportedly escaped to the US, seeking for asylum.
A well-placed source has further intimated to the Daily Express News that Mrs. Majorine Nyanzi, a wife to Chairman Nyanzi, and some of their children have already flown out of the country to seek asylum in the US.
The source further told this website that the contingent of the family is said to have passed through Kenya, to connect to the United States.
The development comes just a day after Court ordered Nyanzi to pay MP Muhammad Nsereko sh38.5m election costs after losing out the vote recount petition he filed against him.
Recently security officers attacked Chairman Nyanzi’s home, arresting one Mugisha who is said to be the adopted son of Chairman Nyanzi, but later was released without any criminal charge.
Intelligence has it that some elements within the security have helped Chairman Nyanzi in the process of taking his family outside the country undetected.
