Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia and his Ruparelia Group have today May 1st unveiled another mega project that will see a five-star hotel, the Speke Resort Paradise Island built on the virgin islands of Lake Victoria.
This comes just days after releasing architectural plans for a mega five-star Kingdom Kampala hotel along the Nile Avenue, an extension to Kingdom Kampala plaza.
The first-island project dubbed “the Speke Resort Paradise Hotel” will be built on magnificent Paradise Island inside Lake Victoria.
According to the Ruparelia Group Chairman Dr. Shudir, the project’s first phase, which will have high-end 24 cottages, will be ready by November 2022.
In 2019, Sudhir, the chairman of Ruparelia Group, revealed he will be adding another super hotel Speke Resort and Convention Centre, Entebbe. While the project hasn’t taken off, it still remains in the pipeline.
The five star Speke Resort and Convention Centre, Entebbe will have a marina, a convention centre and a 3-winged main hotel block, with up to 10 visible floors penthouse suites on the top floor.
Ruparelia Group under Speke Group of Hotels has facilities Speke Resort and Conference Centre, Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort, Kabira Country Club, Speke Hotel, Dolphin Suites, Tourist Hotel, Forest Cottages, Speke Resort Bujagali Falls and the recently expanded Speke Apartments.
Dr. Sudhir also adds that his children Rajiv and Sheena Ruparelia will be fully in charge of the new island resort project.
“They are the drivers of this project, from concept design to finishing the island project,” he said.
The two have recently finished magnificent build-to-sell real estate projects like Bukoto Living and the elder Ruparelia is sure has taught them well and the project is in good hands.
The island will be part of the Speke Group of Hotels and is just 20 minutes away from Speke Resort Munyonyo.
