Rwanda national found dead by the roadside in Kabale

A Rwandan national who has been working as a casual labourer in Rubaya sub-county, Kabale district, was Thursday morning found dead along the road in the district.

According to Police, the Rwandan commonly known as Musiramu Rusangara, approximately 65-years, was a casual labourer without a proper place of abode and had lived in Rubaya sub-county for over 10 years.

Elly Maate, the Kigezi regional police spokesperson, said a case of sudden death has since been entered at Rubaya police post under reference number SD 06/06/05/2021.

“He was this morning found dead along the road at Buramba village in Rubaya sub-county, Kabale district,” Maate said in a statement.

According to Maate, the Police of Rubaya were notified, and they visited the scene and established that the deceased had no marks or injury on his body.

He, however, said that Rusangara was known to be a habitual drunkard something primarily suspected to be the cause of his death.

Maate revealed that Police from Kabale Central Police Station has also gone to visit the scene and that the deceased’s body has been taken to Kabale referral hospital mortuary for a postmortem.
