Flavia Tumusiime Quits NTV, set to join NBS Television

HOT ON THE HEELS: Latest news reaching our info-desk indicate that Naguru based NBS Television is on the verge of poaching celebrated NTV news anchor Flavia Television Kabuura to replace Sheila Nduhukire. The latter recently resigned upon appointment as the Public Relations Officer for National Medical Stores.

Flavia though isn’t the first one to poached from the Serena-based media house, a number of senior Journalists and presenters from NTV have left to join NBS including Sheila Nduhukire, Solomon Sserwanjja, Rukhshana Namuyimba, Douglas Lwanga, Hatma Nalugwa, MC Kats, Anita Fabiola, Charles Odongtho among others.

According to our reliable sources, Flavia Tumusiime Kabuura who has been an anchor on NTV Tonight since 2016 and she is also a former co-host of the Morning at NTV show is reportedly following suit soon.

Our well-placed snoop at Serena further revealed that she apparently asked for salary increment from her bosses but her request was turned down hence the decision to quit.

The details of her contract with NBS have not been revealed but it is speculated she will be joining the NBS Live at 9 crew.

Flavia started out as a teen presenter on now defunct WBS TV’s Teen Club before moving on to Hot 100 and later Capital FM where she has been hosting the AM to PM show since 2006.

She is married to NTV sports journalist Andrew Kabuura.
