Uganda Cup: Express draw KCCA, Vipers to face Villa in Quarterfinals

Express Football Club will face Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Fc in the quarterfinals of the 2021 Stanbic Uganda Cup tournament. The quarterfinal draw was held at FUFA House in Mengo, Kampala on Tuesday May 11.

KCCA and Express, who have won the competition 10 times each will look to revive their old rivalry in the muchly anticipated ties while Vipers SC will look to lock horns with SC Villa.

In the other ties of the quarterfinals, Police FC has been drawn to Wakiso Giants with Proline Fc the 2019 champions awaiting on the winner between Kigezi Home Boyz and BUL FC to know their fate.

The matches of the 2021 Stanbic Uganda Cup Quarterfinals will be played between 25th May and 2nd June 2021 in a two-legged fixture for all the sides involved.

FUFA has also announced that the final of this competition will be hosted in Kitara Region at Masindi Municipal Stadium in Masindi municipality.

The winner of Uganda Cup represents Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup. This historic tournament has been played since 1971.

Last season’s Uganda Cup was ended prematurely at the quarter-final stage by the Covid-19 pandemic.
