OFFICIAL: Flavia Tumusiime Quits NTV after 6 years, poised to join NBS

Flavia Tumusiime says she has chosen to challenge herself again after throwing in towel at NTV Uganda

Celebrated TV Personality, News anchor, and Radio show host Flavia Tumusiime Kabuura has today formally announced her departure from NTV Uganda where she has been since 2015.

The mother one broke the news on a chilly Monday morning through socials saying she had chosen to quit NTV Uganda where she has been anchoring news for the last six years for great changes in both her career (media personality, content creator, and business partner) and life as a wife and mother.

“In 2015, I was given an opportunity to join the newsroom at NTV as an anchor and that challenge was accepted with fear and grace. Thank you for the training and the platform that has rebranded me and helped my career adjust to a new vision I have since set for myself.” A budding Flavia Tumusime posted on her official Facebook page.

It should be noted that Flavia resigned after 20 years of being on television first as an entertainment TV presenter on now defunct WBS TV and later joined the newsroom as an anchor with NTV.

Flavia said she stopped working with NTV in April and she now looking for new challenges.

Other rumors continue to link Flavia with a move to rivals NBS have gathered traction in the recent weeks with the Capital FM presenter expected to fill the void left by Sheila Nduhukire for the much-viewed Live at 9.
