Popular TV and Radio personality Michael Benjamin Owor, known to many as DJ Bush Baby, is in need of Shs 15 million to have a surgery after an accident that left him with a fractured hip.
Bush Baby, a seasoned media personality who has been on radio since the ‘Radio Uganda era’ was involved in fatal accident back in April. After further consultation with his doctors, it is said the results indicate that he injured some of his internal organs and needs Shs 15,000,000 for surgery.
In a video that is currently circulating on social media, DJ Bush Baby is seen standing with a crutch and a visible urinary catheter.
“This is a noble humble call for you to come through and support me financially with whatever you can. It is quite a costly procedure, we are targeting at raising 15 million shillings to have this process,” he said.

The surgery is slated to take place between July and August this year.
Prior to his accident, DJ Bush Baby quit his job as the content manager in the entertainment broadcast department of Vision group in February this year.
He was set to start up his own consultancy firm basing on his many years in the media industry.
That, however, shall have to wait as it might take longer as he goes through the surgery and recovery process. We wish him well!
