Popular Ugandan comedian Anne Kansiime has announced that her beloved mother has died today.
According to the celebrated comedian, her mother is said to have breathed her last in the wee hours of Sunday morning although details pertaining her death were scanty by press time.
Kansiime posted through her socials to announce her mother’s passing on.
“God’s ways are indeed not our ways!” said Kansiime.
“My mother has gone to be with the Lord this morning.” she added.
Born in Mparo in present-day Rukiga District in the Western Region of Uganda, Kansiime is a popular standup comedian who has taken the world by its storm through her unique skits which have earned her a name on a world map of comedians.
Her father is a retired banker, and her departed mother has been a house wife.
