EXCLUSIVE: NTV Uganda has suspended the producer and director of the NTV Mix show after one audience member appeared masturbating during a live TV broadcast.
In a press statement released on Saturday, the management of NTV Uganda confirmed the suspension of both the producer and director of the much-watched show as an inquiry into the matter takes immediate effect.
“On Friday 25th June, during the live broadcast of the NTV Mix Show, one of the audience members appeared to have indecently exposed himself,” reads in part a statement released by NTV.
The station management also revealed that they have already reported the matter to Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) and they have appealed to the commission for assistance in identifying and prosecuting the individual involved.
With immediate effect, the state also noted that studio technical staff, producers and presenters have all been reminded to always be mindful of such mischievous audience members to avoid instances of the same happening again.
” NTV is a law abiding corporate entity, and we reiterate our fidelity to the Minimum Broadcasting Standards, as well as our own Nation Media Group Editorial Policy Guidelines. We are also a family oriented station and appeal to our audiences to act with decency, respect and decorum when they interact with our platforms.”
How it Happened
It was drama last night 25th June as a fan masturbated live on TV during the NTV Mix show hosted by Daggy Nice and the hot girl Etania.
The unfortunate event happened last night when a fan took to rubbing his manhood in a bid to pleasure himself live on zoom camera.
The relevant authorities did not filter the fan out as they did not quickly notice it.
NTV however after a few seconds filtered it out but fans had already noticed and some taken a recording of the fan.
His face however was not seen with only his erect manhood being caught on camera.
Some fans took to Twitter to say that he was fantasizing about the show’s hot presenter whom most people find so hot.
