Major (Rtd) William Ntuyehe Masumbuku, the proprietor of Starlink Buses has passed on. According to family sources, he succumbed to Covid-19 on Saturday at Mulago Hospital.
Masumbuku, who also owned a three-star hotel is a born of Nyamwegabira in Kihihi Town Council, Kanungu district.
The Star Link Buses which he owned are known for plying the Kanungu –Kampala route ferrying passengers to and from daily.
Masumbuku will be highly remembered as a great National Resistance Movement (NRM) cadre and a pillar of development in the district.
To date, Uganda has registered 76,562 total cumulative confirmed cases and 830 deaths all out of 1,295,376 tests conducted since the scourge in March 2020.
