Victoria University launches ‘GTPay’ to allow students, parents pay tuition online

Victoria University Kampala has unveiled another innovative platform dubbed the GTPay that enables parents and students to pay tuition without lining up in banks to catch the deadly COVID-19.

This new innovation in just months adds to the University’s mobile money option among its various payment methods for remitting tuition flexibly during this covid-19 era.

The new GTPay platform according to the University is to ensure that academics progresses amidst the pandemic and also allow a student to make his/her payment flexibly without needing to line up in the bank.

To make payments online using this new GTPay option, the student/parent should follow the steps below;

Step 1: Login into; www.eportal.vu.ac. ug/cooperp/mobile/cardpay.aspx
Step 2: Fill in the empty fields and click “Process Payment”
Step 3: Select your desired payment option (which is GTPay in this case)
Step 4: Enter your email address and click “Continue”
Step 5: Enter the required payment details (These vary depending on previously selected option) after click “pay”
Step 6: Complete security check (if paying by card) and click “Submit” to complete the transaction.
