UCE Results 2020: Best Performing Schools in Masaka Sub-region listed

The Results from the 2020 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examination were released on Friday, July 30, 202 with a stellar performance recorded as boys outshined girls overall.

UNEB Statistics showed that the candidature for lay years UCE Exams declined by 1.3% from 337,720 in 2019 to 333,396 in 2020 (a difference of 4,324).

UNEB Says, of the total candidates registered for S.4 Exams,148,128 (44.4%) were USE beneficiaries.

The Executive Secretary, Mr. Dan Odongo also stated that boys performed better than girls in all subjects, except English language, but expressed dismay science subjects continued to be performed poorly countrywide.

Odongo listed Chemistry, Biology as the worst done subjects, while English was the best done among all subjects.
