Despite the continued release of finalists’ results, the fate of school reopening remains unknown as Mrs. Museveni put preconditioning of vaccinating all learners and teachers prior to schools resuming classes. The Minister also ordered private schools to stop online applications for senior one and senior five until they give an official communication.

President Museveni during his last national address on Covid-19 noted that the government has added children between the age of 12-18 years to the covid-19 vaccination program and it remains unclear whether all learners will have to wait until they are vaccinated to get back to school or not.
