Delhi Public School Announces Admissions For CBSE Class II Senior Students

Delhi Public School International (DPS), an international curriculum-based school in Uganda has opened admissions for its 2022 academic year and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Senior Secondary – Class II students.

The school, located at the Saddler Way in Naguru, a Kampala suburb is a subsidiary of the Ruparelia Group, a conglomerate owned by business magnate and billionaire Sudhir Ruparelia.

In the groundbreaking announcement released via its socials, Delhi Public School International says the admissions for its CBSE senior students is available for only two classes as indicated below;

1. CBSE Science Stream where a student will enroll for English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and an option of either Biology, Computer Science or Psychology, all examined at international CBSE curriculum level.

2. CBSE Commerce Stream where a student will enroll for English, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Applied Maths with an optional subject of either Computer Science or Psychology.

The Central Board of Secondary Education – CBSE is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by the Union Government of India. There are approximately 21,271 schools in India and 220 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated with the CBSE.

Transparent Admission Process: In the process of being admitted, pupils and students are assessed in the presence of their parents. The assessment tests are usually conducted immediately after the registration of the child or within a maximum period of the next three working days.

Innovative learning: Through its innovative techniques, DPS Uganda strives to expose students to a stimulating and enriching learning experience with knowledge accumulated in many ways. Students at DPS can accumulate knowledge through attending classes, reading books, searching the internet, and doing fieldwork among others. The knowledge acquired helps children to excel in various assignments and exams. They are able to apply it in life after school for example employment. The more knowledge students accumulate the smarter they become.

Delhi Public School International officially started operations in October of 2015 opened by the then education minister Maj. (Rtd) Jessica Alupo (now Vice President) who heaped praise on Billionaire Sudhir for having established a legacy that will stand for a long term.
