Museveni appoints Justine Nameere Presidential advisor

President Museveni has appointed former Bukedde Tv and NTV Uganda journalist Justine Nameere, as Presidential advisor in charge of the Greater Masaka region, the Daily Express understands.

Nameere a lawyer by profession is daughter of former Agriculture Minister and currently the Defence Minister, Mr. Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja.

The popular TV show host is a familiar personality in the media circles having worked at NTV, Urban TV, and later UBC TV as both a presenter and producer of reality TV shows although she is known to many for her endless wrangles with NTV’s Mwasuze Mutya host Faridah Nakazibwe.

Nameere who idolizes former Speaker of the Parliament Rt. Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga contests for the Central youth Mp seat in the 2021 general elections but unfortunately lost in the NRM party primaries to Agnes Kirabo, who went on further to win the seat.

Recently, rumours have been making rounds that she recently started the first television station in the Greater Masaka region although she is yet to publicly make a comment about the matter.
