KAMPALA, UGANDA: A Kyambogo University student who was set to graduate this week has suddenly passed on with just hours to her graduation day, the Daily Express reports.
Tracy Ndagire was pronounced dead by her family on Tuesday morning without divulging further details into the cause of her mysterious death.
However, according to an online news publication, the Campus Trend, a friend to the deceased disclosed that Tracy had fallen ill for several days, and eventually lost the battle to the illness.
Family sources told DailyExpress that Tracy had completed the requirements in fulfillment of a Bachelor of Science in Surveying and Land Information Systems and was set to graduate this week on Thursday, 23rd September 2021.
Kyambogo University commenced its 17th graduation on 21st September 2021 where thousands of students are attending remotely.
