On this auspicious occasion of the 59th independence of our country Uganda, on which we transferred from a protectorate to a republic, we humbly request those that God has empowered into positions of authority or even those that are naturally empowered to try to groom the young generation so that they can harness various opportunities that are in the country.
“President Museveni is always available to help and he listens, but those in the power of authority have failed to emulate him. Sometimes they are arrogant and proud. They think that opening their doors to serve humanity is a privilege for them. Forgetting that their master wants them to serve Ugandans,” Eng. Sewava said.
If you don’t help the young generation to take over from you, you will always create a vacuum for our country.
It is on such days as Independence day, that we seat back and reflect and be able to choose the right direction. Sewava also implored young people to love and cherish their country no matter what.
