It should be noted that Khalifa had dropped out after Senior Six. Despite efforts to join Makerere Unity a year ago, the singer could not adhere to the tuition rates at Uganda’s oldest institution and would later drown in debts and fail to pay tuition opting him to shift all focus to his own music. The chance to join Victoria University in full scholarship, therefore, gives the musician a chance to finally achieve his academic goals and career dream.

It’s worth noting that victoria university is endorsed by the national council for higher education (NCHE) to continue conducting online lessons as well as physical learning.

The University has throughout the lockdown period devised several means of ensuring continuity in learning after rolling out the VClass, a state-of-the-art learning management system that caters to students not only in Uganda but across the globe. The VClass adopted by VU includes the following;

1. Online classes
2. Online examinations
3. Online tuition payments
