JINJA, UGANDA: Motorsport Africa Club (Mosac), the organizers of this year’s Seventh Edition of the Federation of Motorsport Rally Championship on Wednesday morning unveiled more co-sponsors of the much-anticipated sexy speed rally at a function held at the Source of the Nile Hotel, in Jinja City
The ‘Sexy Speed Rally’ is a two-day race that will take place in Jinja City next week starting November 26th to 27th, 2021.
The newly unveiled sponsors are Tip Top Bread, Vitafoam Mattresses, and Source of the Nile Hotel. These join Movit, Lato Milk, Fire and Safety Appliances Limited, and Marine Time Company who were on Tuesday at Uganda Olympics Committee offices in Kampala.
The main sponsors of the rally are Ruparelia Group’s Victoria University and Premier Recruitment Ltd who were unveiled in the first event two weeks ago.
The rally will also have the reign champion of the NRC5 Kabalega edition Mr. Rajiv Ruparelia of the Rajiv Ruparelia Rally Team and he promised showcase the styles and maestro and sublime tactics to retain his crown and push further for the NRC title. MOSAC, who are the main organizers revealed that a corporate social responsibility aspect has been incorporated into the two-day rally; in conjunction with the ministry of health, a COVID19 vaccination exercise will be conducted.
The Ministry of Health will join the rally as partners of the Federation of Motorsport Rally Championship and Mosac; to conduct free COVID-19 vaccinations. The Rally and all its related pre-event activities are also being held, under strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures, as set by the Ministry of Health.
Also, as a way of giving back to the people, Victoria University will offer bursaries (with a 60% tuition deduction) to students who will be assessed, a week to the rally.
Also, individuals, who will register with Premier Recruitment to travel and work abroad, from November 21st to 26th, will be helped to secure a Passport at no cost.
“We are promising an exciting and safe rally for all the fans of Motorsport. Come and witness the fastest drivers, get jobs from Premier Recruitment and scholarships from Victoria University. There will also be an opportunity to get vaccinated,” MOSAC’s COC Shafiq Matovu said.
