KAMPALA, UGANDA: Barbie Kyagulanyi, wife to National Unity Platform (NUP) President Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has graduated with a Masters’s Degree in Human Rights from the University of London, Bobi Wine has revealed.
Through his socials, the excited NUP leader broke the good news to his followers congratulating his other half upon the academic achievement.
“Congratulations to you dear Barbie Kyagulanyi upon your graduation with a Master’s degree in Human Rights from the University of London(School Of Advanced Studies).”
“You are such an inspiration to this generation and the next one, especially the girl child. Oh, how proud I am of you, my love. Congrats again,” added Bobi Wine.
Barbie was among the many students who walked away with Degrees and Master’s Degree Honor during the university of London graduation ceremony.
She took to her official social platforms to celebrate this milestone shortly after graduating.
“Today, on this International Human Rights day 2021, I leave London with a much deserved Masters Degree in Human Rights from the University of London.
Barbie also thanked her husband Bobi Wine for the full and unreserved support, her friend Kiyaga Cissy, NUP Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya plus her professors.
“I am most grateful to my husband Bobi Wine for the FULL and UNRESERVED support! You are my Rock Taata. Thank you! Thank you for encouraging me and for being patient with me while I ventured into a very challenging academic journey,” she acknowledged.
“To the People Power foot soldiers who allowed me to dig deep into your personal lives for my Thesis, I will forever be grateful. To my dear friend Kiyaga Cissy who opened her little room at Makerere University campus for most of my last minute “winter classes”, Thank you!
“To you David Lewis Rubongoya, thank you for all the support you’ve rendered during this MA. My Professors Dr. Damien and Dr. Corinne, thank you for being available any time I needed you. Finally to my parents and Children, you are the wind beneath my wings. Our God is an awesome God. He is indeed able, he has done wonderful things in my life!”, Barbie added.
Barbie attended St. Helen’s Primary School, Nyamitanga in Mbarara, Bweranyangi Girl’s school for her O and A levels.
She then joined Makerere University where she studied Social Works and Social Administration.
