Kampala International School Uganda Opens Admissions for Academic Year 2022

Kampala International School Uganda (KISU), has announced it has opened admissions and registration for the 2022 academic year ahead of the schools reopening due early next month.

According to an announcement released via its socials, KISU said Academic year 2022 admissions has opened for Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary and interviews for potential pupils is on every day Monday to Friday at the school premises in Bukoto.

The requirements for one to get shortlisted for the interview are; A photocopy of the birth certificate or child immunization certificate of the applicant (for nationals), a photocopy of the valid passport of child (for foreigners / non-ugandans) and 2 passport photos for the child, plus one for the parent.

Parents intending to enrol their children at the school have been advised to call the school and book to enable the school plan and adhere to the SOPs and health guidelines.

Earlier this year, all the students who sat their International Baccalaureate exams for 2021 at Kampala International School Uganda (KISU), passed their exams- a phenomenal, 100% pass rate for the prestigious Bilingual Diploma.

KISU as it is commonly known, a subsidiary of the Ruparelia Group’s education arm was established in 1993. The school boasts of an enrollment of over 400 students from over 60 nationalities according to 2020-21 admission statistics.

Kampala International school is equipped with a state of the art facilities for all round education including four science labs, three computer labs, three music rooms, three performance areas, an indoor sports hall, outdoor basketball court, 25 metre eight lane competition swimming pool, two libraries, smart boards in most classrooms and a five acre playing field.

KISU students get a chance to participate in an extensive range of extracurricular activities including outdoor education and overseas trips, to diverse destinations such as The UK, France, Italy, Mount Kilimanjaro and an annual ski trip in Europe.

This holistic education and learning environment bolsters the overall growth and development of the school output to the outside world.
