Kampala Parents School (KPS), a leading private mixed primary school in the city has announced a job offer seeking to recruit a Closed-Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV) operator ahead of the full reopening of the school this month.
In an announcement via the school socials, Kampala Parents says the CCTV Operator must possess a Certificate in Security Vigilance and Cameras plus a minimum of a Diploma in Information Technology, or a related field. Knowledge of computer operations and internet basics is key, according to the hiring school.
”We are looking for a CCTV operator. Must have a diploma or certificate in Security Vigilance and I.T.,” the school announced.

For the role to be completed efficiently, a CCTV operator needs to be exceedingly observant with a high level of concentration, and be able to divide their attention in order to monitor multiple occurrences taking place in a single setting.
Most importantly, a CCTV operator must be quick thinking, using their initiative whilst reacting quickly and calmly during emergencies.
