Born 17 January 1956, at Kabatoro village in Kasese, Uganda, Sudhir is a formidable wealthy businessman, entrepreneur, and investor in Uganda, and is the only Ugandan listed as a billionaire on Forbes Magazine.

KAMPALA, UGANDA: East African Business Mogul and Richest man in Uganda, Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia today celebrated his birthday in style as he clocked 66 years of greatness.

Dr. Sudhir, who is also the Nepalese honorary consul to Uganda and Chairman Ruparelia Group of Companies had his 66th birthday celebration with staff, family, and friends held at his Ruparelia Group offices at Crane Chambers in Kampala.

Born 17 January 1956, at Kabatoro village in Kasese, Uganda, Sudhir is a formidable wealthy businessman, entrepreneur, and investor in Uganda, and is the only Ugandan listed as a billionaire on Forbes Magazine.

Sudhir boasts of a wealth of business under the Ruparelia group which among others include; Speke Resort Munyonyo, Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort, Kabira Country Club, Speke Hotel 1996, Forest Cottages Naguru, Bukoto Heights, Dolphine Suites, Speke Apartments, Victoria University, Kampala Parents School, Dheli Public School, Kampala International School of Uganda.

Others are; Goldstar Insurance, Sanyu Fm 2000 Limited, Meera Investments, Rosebud, Premier Roses, Premier Recruitment Services, Crane Management Services the property management arm of the empire, and a host of other thriving businesses in and outside the country.

The property mogul and money magnet has a family comprising of his wife Jyostna Ruparelia, and children Meera, Rajiv, Sheena.
