MASINDI, UGANDA: Residents of Kisengya cell in Nyangahya division in Masindi Municipality were shocked after the discovery of a 30-year-old man hanged with a rope on a mango tree.
The deceased has been identified as Channel O by nickname, a resident of Kisengya cell in Nyangahya division in Masindi Municipality was found hanging on a mango tree in the garden of Pretius Mbabazi, resident of the same area.
Stephen Kateeba the Kisengya cell chairperson says they are yet to identify the cause of Channel O’s suicide.
“He has been a good resident and he had no conflict with neighbors or any family member but unfortunately he hanged himself”. Mr. Kateeba said.
Police rushed to the scene and removed the body of the deceased and later taken to Masindi General Hospital for a postmortem.
At the time of this report, police was yet to release any comment about the matter.
