Uganda’s leading technology-driven institution – Victoria University Kampala has announced it is currently looking for experienced professionals to fill a number of high-level positions as the university restructures to enhance its performance.
The exciting job vacancies available include;
- Manager Internal Audit,
- University Bursar
- University Librarian and
- Human Resources Officer
According to the Job Advert, the Manager Internal Audit is tasked with role of providing provide overall leadership to the internal audit function of the university; monitor, analyse and assess the risks and internal controls including corporate governance and accounting processes, to ensure the university’s compliance with applicable laws and make assurances and recommendations for improvement to the University and Council.
The advert further says the potential candidate for this senior position must have at least a Hons Bachelor’s degree preferably in a business discipline, a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration and a be a holder of a Professional qualification/certificate in Auditing/Accounting (ACCA, CPA/CIA with vast and remarkable experience in internal auditing.
For other positions, the candidate MUST be a holder of a Hons Bachelor Degree in the position-related field, with at least 3-5 years of experience in an educational institution.
