IGP Ochola Promotes 198 police officers

KAMPALA, UGANDA: The Inspector-General of Police Mr. Martins Okoth Ochola has promoted a total of 198 police officers to the rank of Assistant Inspector of Police (AIP).

These are part of the contingent that completed a 6 months officers basic course at Police Training School, Kabalye – Masindi district.

The promoted officers include professionals from the Directorate of ICT, forensics, FFU, medical, and instructors.

Presiding over the pass-out ceremony on Friday, March 25, the Director of Human Resource Development AIGP Godfrey Golooba urged the officers to remain healthy and focused whilst executing their duties.

“Avoid corrupt tendencies while performing your police duties, have Positive attitude towards Work, loyalty, Discipline and commitment are a pathway to reach goals and dreams,” AIGP Golooba said.
